Yes, I am committed to the climate cause. Please keep me updated about PlanetCall.
Yes, keep me updated, but limit it to informing me, when we have reached 500,000 signatures and 1 million signatures.
Do not keep me updated.

The future of human kind depends
on the actions of THIS generation.

We are youth from 129 countries who have committed ourselves to reduce carbon emissions now and we encourage all nations to sign an ambitious global climate treaty at the UN Climate Summit (COP-15) in Copenhagen December 2009. Only through significant action that takes the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) into account, can we ensure that OUR future will be prosperous, clean, and secure for ourselves, our children and our home, the Earth.

Melhem Mansour: I'm already sharing with the facebook groups I'm memebr in, and I could also share with hundreds of youth in my country and all over the globe. However, my concern is bieng only online!!! most of youth in my cuntry Syria didnt hear about COP 15, or dont feel the danger of climate chnage becuase of lack of education on this issue and also many of them can not reach internet. Could we distribute some kind of posters or promotion in internet cafes and youth organizations?

AnnaK: Great initiative. My only comment is that the petition says that we should take "the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)" into account... but there is more recent science than the IPCC, and the IPCC itself does not make reccommendations, only provides scientific analysis. You should check out Rajendra Pachauri's recent endorsement of the 350ppm target.

Act now, sign the Planet Call statement, forward it to your friends, make your voice heard, and let us together create the future we desire and require so that we are remembered as the faces of courage, wonder and hope.

We will hand over the Planet Call Declaration, the number of signatures, and a description of next generation’s willingness to adopt and improve sustainable solutions to the hosts of COP15 - the Danish government - and the UN.

The voice of more than one million young people is non-ignorable.

As a registered PlanetCall user, being active, sharing links, and encouraging others to join, could land you one of our great prizes, including solar chargers, iPods, and even trips to Copenhagen for COP15

PlanetCall is calling. World leaders are listening.
Launched at the World Business Summit on Climate Change and endorsed by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Danish Minister for Climate and Energy Connie Hedegaard, PlanetCall is the single best platform on which to unite and engage with young people who are passionate about safeguarding our planet, as well as hear from and influence those integral to solutions and to the formation of a successful new climate treaty in Copenhagen in December.
